Do you know how to cook?
Dear IA Adult,
Mark your calendars now for a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The IA will be presenting "Cafe Murder" on November 18 and November 19 (times still to be determined).
This will be a dinner theater experience that could possibly be an IA Trip Fundraiser.
A group of adults would need to plan, cook, and coordinate a dinner of baked chicken, baked potatoes, green beans, and a dessert to be enjoyed during the play (in the Commons). Students and/or actors will be servers during the play. If anyone has the desire and experience to do this, please let us know as soon as possible. If no one from the IA is interested, we will pass this offer on to our secondary community.
Sincerely,
Gabrielle, Kristie, Melody, and Per

All School Swim Day is next Wednesday.
All School Swim Day
The school year is off and rolling and
to help celebrate the beginning of another great year, we will be going to the
Apex Center for our All School Swim Day on Wednesday, Sept. 16th. The cost is $8.00, which includes the use of
the swimming pools, water slides and the gymnasiums. The buses will pick us up from school at 9:00
and will bring us back to school around 1:30.
Don’t forget to bring a swimsuit and
towel, a sack lunch and $8.00. The $8.00
must be turned in to your advisor by Wednesday, Sept. 16th. Sharon, our wonderful financial secretary,
asks that if you are going to pay with a check, please make sure it is made out
for the amount of swim day only.
Parents, grandparents and siblings are welcome to join us, but must also
pay $8.00. If you have any questions,
please call Rosie at #303-982-7056. I am
looking forward to a great day together at the Apex Center.
Directions
to the Apex Center:
Go North on Wadsworth to I-70. Get on I-70 going West and take it to the
Ward Road exit (#266). Get off on Ward
Road and go North (right). Take Ward
Road to 72nd Ave. and turn left.
The Apex Center is about ½ of a mile down, on the left side of the
street. It’s a great big building off of
72nd Ave. and Apex.

Reminder for Tuesday morning...
Hey All!
Check your bags so they are ready for Tuesday.
Trip journals need to be brought in for class completion and to be added to your portfolio. Walking s'mores to everyone who remembers.
School supply sales are on this Labor Day weekend so get a portfolio if you haven't already (1.5-3" three ring binder, your choice of features.) I have some extras for those who don't want to shop for their own.
Super School News applications should be completed and emailed to Angie or hand delivered on Tuesday. Planning meetings will start right away.
Band and Orchestra instruments MUST be brought to the school by the musicians for Tuesday lessons and rehearsals. Please remind everyone who needs this message.
Our next trip will be in January. Snow pants, boots, and quality socks and gloves will be necessary for the freezing temperatures. Keep an eye out for these supplies in the next few months.
Enjoy your Monday!
Fondly,
Gabrielle
