This spring the IA will be using an open house
format for conferences. Parents will
sign up for a time slot and may come in any time during that period. Students will lead parents through their work
accomplishments for the year, sharing portfolio artifacts and other classroom
work. Advisors will be present to answer
any questions, add any relevant details, and do a final check-in as a last
step.
Support
staff will also be available throughout conferences, including Melody, Jolayne,
Kristie, and Larry. If you would instead
like to have a traditional sit-down student-led conference facilitated by the
advisor, slots are available Friday afternoon.
